Grieving Takes Time

It's hard to be in love and let that person go.
It takes tremendous strength to let go, for this I know.

I've had to go through the pain and it wasn't easy,
For the healing through me came about gradually.

It's sometimes confusing why these things pass our way,
And we may never know until we see Christ one day.

Though we can't see the future, there's a plan for us,
And we can make it in this world if we seek Jesus.

Sometimes sorrow clouds our way where we cannot see,
But God's there to lift us up. He's there for you and me.

Grieving takes a lot of time to strengthen and grow,
For it's painful and it hurts, but Christ loves us so.

We can allow Jesus to help us through it all.
Jesus can prevent us from stumbling to a fall.

We must reach out to God's people and accept their love,
And allow God to work His power from above.

We must reach out to others when they're feeling ill,
For God works through others, according to His will.

Love is the key through the heart of mankind,
Reach out to one who's hurting. Don't leave them behind.

Grieving takes time when we lose someone that we love,
But Christ heals broken hearts with His strength from above
