One Faithful Little Boy

He came to hear the Master,
A wandering little boy.
He sat in awe and listened,
Watching Him with joy.

For hours and hours he sat there,
Enthralled by the Master's voice.
Among the throng of thousands,
One tin
y little boy.

And when the pangs of hunger
Spread throughout the crowd,
He offered up his fish and loaves;
His mind could hold no doubt.

He knew that Jesus could supply
The food the people craved
If he himself would sacrifice
The little he had saved.

Little becomes much with Jesus
When we give it up with joy
And share it with the masses
Like one faithful little boy.

One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to Him, "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?"
(John 6:8-9)
